Dear Head Start Agency administrators and staff,

You are our heroes! Learning Genie is launching a HEROES Grant to support Head Start agencies who are striving to deliver quality education to the most vulnerable children under a pandemic yet struggling with the $1.7 billion funding gap.


The Grant Award will cover up to 60% of the usage and training cost (as a form of In-Kind donation to your agency) for our Data Driven Family Engagement and In-Kind Tracking program that has supported over 200 Head Start programs on Continuing Quality Improvement.

HOW WILL LEARNING GENIE HELP HEAD START AGENCIES AND FAMILIES?

  • Family Engagement and In-Kind Tracking: Learning Genie mobile and web applications enable Head Start families to communicate with staff without language barriers (auto-translation to 104 languages), submit in-kind activities, RSVP and sign-in events, fill-in family surveys and have access to virtual learning and parenting curriculum video contents shared by staff. 
  • Data Dashboard: The powerful dashboard provides instant parent engagement and virtual learning data to promote agencies data driven practice towards continuous quality improvement, aligned with Head Standards and FA1 & FA2 review requirements.
  • School Readiness: Helping with the School Readiness goals tracking  for children due to the pandemic impact on their learning progress and having individualized plans.

 

WHAT’S IN THE GRANT?

The Grant Award will cover up to 60% of costs related to training and software subscription (donate as in-kind). Federal FA1 and FA2 reviews data-tour support will also be provided free of charge.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Head start, Early Head Start, Tribe, Migrant, AIAN agencies

Existing Learning Genie users can also apply under certain terms and conditions.
